2026 AGC Women in Construction
AGC New Mexico proudly celebrated Women in Construction Week, March 7–13, with an inspiring event that recognized and elevated the vital contributions of women across
the construction industry.

As women continue to play an increasingly visible and influential role in the field, the event focused on strengthening support networks and raising awareness of the many
opportunities available within the industry.
​
The program welcomed more than 250 attendees and featured remarks from industry leaders, including Myra Villalobos, President and Owner of Villalobos Builders, LLC and AGC Event
Committee Member. Keynote speaker Coralee Beatty delivered an engaging workshop, “Building the Mindset to Thrive,” providing valuable insights on leadership, resilience, and professional growth.

A distinguished panel of construction leaders also shared their experiences, perspectives, and guidance, offering meaningful advice for current and future professionals in the industry. The celebration was further honored by a proclamation from Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham recognizing March 7–13 as Women in Construction Week in the State of New Mexico.

The event served as a powerful and empowering gathering for both the construction industry and the New Mexico community, highlighting the talent, leadership, and lasting impact of women shaping the future of construction.
